second day at cgh..
i am slowly getting use to the ward..though i am still abit blur..did alot of things today...assisted in bathing a patient who had an amputated leg..then made many many beds...then was asked to do parameters for about 7 pts..which i took so long!!took about 45 mins?!OMG!!i muz buck up and do it faster!!one of my patient got a BP of 219/87!!!!OMG!!!so shocked!first time seeing such a high BP..then managed to catch the multi-discipline meeting for the last cubicle..each i don't realli understand..then it was realli 1pm le..suppose to go for my break at about 10..but didn't dare to go...so i skipped my break..then till 1pm..cannot take it..beri hungry..so decided to be brave and let the nurse noe tat i haven't go for lunch..can i go?
after tat..didn't do much..mostly answering call bell and observing the nurses to do some procedures like bladder scanning, releasing of urine from the bladder...
also went to look for some of my ex-colleagues.. :D
going to rush to airport tml after work..hopefully i will be able to catch them before they leave!! :D
